[NTLK] Sorting Names by First Name and removing default area code

Hi List

I have noticed that if I set the sort order in Names to 'First Name',
the last name is still shown first in overview mode?
This makes the list rather unwieldy now I've got lots in there and I
don't think in terms of last names.
I'd like to be able to view Names by first name order but with the first
name shown first?
Can anyone advise me on this?

Also how do I prevent my own area telephone code appearing as a default
for all new entries in Names?
