Photoshop CS should work just fine. Once you have set image size to fit
your Newtons display, set for grayscale and corrected saturation, contrast,
brightness or whatever then save it.
A dialog box should open that will allow you to set quality, for
bitmap you can tic off 4 bit, for jpeg you change imagre quality.
This dialog box occurs after you have selected format and location and
clicked the save button.
