Perhaps not a perfect solution, but better than anyone else could (or
would) have done. The only "perfect" solution would have been from
Apple and we all know even they have problems at times.

I don't think anyone was putting down your design down. And always
something can be done better on anything. But nothing is ever perfect
in this world, and if wait till it is nothing will ever get done. We
just have to do the best we can. And you did much better than anyone
else could have done. If it was not for you, I am sure there would not
be any sort of board at all. My only regret is not being able to get
one for my Newt.
