Hello! Two days ago my WaveLan Silver card arrived in the mail and, after
installing NIE (and the patch), the WaveLan driver (version 1.08a), and
Courier, I was able to connect to the Internet without any difficulty.
Yesterday and today, however, I am unable to connect at all, and to the best
of my knowledge no settings have been changed. I'm really puzzled, and hope
that someone out there can help.
Specifically, I'm using my Newton 2100 to connect to an AirPort network
hosted by my iMac (running OS X 10.4.8). To set things up, I followed the
information on http://tools.unna.org/wikiwikinewt/index.php/WiFi and
http://www.newtenlightment.de/support.html. As I said, the first time I
tried it everything worked fine, but now when I try to connect I get as far
as the "loading the dhcp protocol" message, but no further.
I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm at the end of my rope.
*Any*guidance you can offer would be wonderful.
Thanks,
Dieter
