[NTLK] Transferring Text with NewtSync

Get error message 48809 when trying to transfer text to the Newton
Performed a brainwipe by tapping the reset button while holding down the
power switch
Installed NewtSync.pkg on the Newton using NewTen and a USB to serial cable
Installed TextSync.bundle in ~/Library/Application Support/nSync/Plug-ins
Note files will transfer from the Newton to the Mac but not from the Mac to
the Newton.
Transfer begins with NewtSync reporting:
Getting access to "Notes" soup on Newton
0 Notes needing backup
1 Notes to put on Newton
Adding note from file: From Mac.txt
Error 48809 comes up after the above with nothing in the Newton In Box or in
Notes list.
Tried text files saved in Mac OS Roman, UTF-9, and UTF-16 formats
Tried installing NIE 2.0, installing the required packages first, before
installing NewtSync
Newton ROM 2.1 710031 patch version 1 version 131074
Mac OS 10.4.8
