There is a book called "Defying Gravity: The Making of the Newton" which
has been talked about on this list quite a few times. And I believe
that one publisher still has copies available. If you do a search in
the list archives you should find the contact information. Everyone
that I have talked to said it was good, though I have not read it myself
(one of these days......).
