I'm working on my first application and would appreciate some design
suggestions.
The application, "Agenda" would act like a daily alarm leveraging the
MacInTalk and SpeakText Extensions and be accessible through the
assistant with a keyword.
I would like it to speak a combination of soup items, kind of like a
personal assistant.
"Good [morning/afternoon/evening] Mr. Solin.
Today is October 28th, 2006 and the time is 7:00 AM.
There is one event on your calendar today.
The event is Payday.
You have one meeting on your calendar today.
Your 9:00 AM meeting is with John Doe and Jane Doe [extended soup
with MoreInfo] and the topic is Review Programming Suggestions.
The meeting is for 1 hour.
You have 1 open task for today.
The task is with Mary Smith [extended soup with MoreInfo] and the
topic is Complete Documentation. The task has a priority of 2
[extended soup with MoreInfo].
My system status is as follows:
Battery Level is 79%.
Internal Memory has 3357kb Free.
Newton Card has 11848kb Free.
The last Full Backup was on October 25th, 2006 at 4:36 PM."
Obviously there is room for expansion:
1) inbox - new email message count
2) the reading of a specific email or "Fetch URL" that contain a news
summary for the day
Any programming design and feature suggestions would be welcomed.
