I should ask... you did install the ATA Driver? The Newton won't recognize the cards without it. The ATA Driver runs in Demo mode, allowing you to test your Newton with a single 4MB partition.

I haven't found a card that didn't work. ATA and CF and CF II are all compatible with each other.
