Hi all,
I noticed this in Paul Guyot's summary
<http://www.newtontalk.net/archive/newtontalk.2007-07/0164.html>
of this year's WWNC in Tokyo:
"Japanese hardware specialist Ken Shimoda (Shimoken) demonstrated
various hardware repair including an explanation of the jaggies
problem and a fix using a special cleaning pen."
I'm wondering whether this explanation and fix is something new (i.e.,
different from the various theories that have been proposed before)?
Does anyone know where I can access details of Shimoken's fix?
I currently have several MP2100s all with bad cases of jaggies :(
I'm thinking of attempting corrective surgery (with help from someone
far more skilled than me), but before we start I'd like to have some
idea what to do once we get in there.
Thanks,
Michael
