OK, You need to figure out how to access the setup web page on your
wireless router.
Your Newton with the silver card can only access 64bit (or 40 bit)
WEP base stations. The length of your key seems to indicate you have
a 128 bit key?
Figuring out how to check the configuration of your wireless base is
essential and shouldn't be too hard. Usually if you are using DHCP,
the gateway or router address given by the base is the web page of
the router. For example if your gateway address is 192.168.0.1, try
entering that into your browsers top line (the place where you
normally see http://blahblahblah.com

Yes it's too long.

Not that has nothing to do with it, unless I am misunderstanding?
You need to set the wireless base to use 40 bit web (or 64 bit) with
an appropriate key.

No point as that would only break the connection to the windows box.
When you have reconfigured the base station, then you can go back and
change the widows box to the new key.
