It's true that one of the most important reasons for my reduction of
Newton usage in recent years has been the instant-on capability of
the PowerBook and the rise of the network but the Newt remains the
pre-eminent method of data capture for meetings and in the field and
remains an invaluable historical notebook in the way a phone cannot
yet be.
