Doc Clu,

As the owner of 2 Newts with white backlights, thanks to Frank, I can
testify to the quality of them. OK, so the purist in me is prodded by not
using the original colour backlight, but the pleasure I get out of the
clarity of the white backlight makes up for that. At my eyes' age the extra
contrast is a help.

I say, if you can get one, go for it.
