[NTLK] battery should be dead?

Hello, folks. I bought a rechargeable battery, sealed, boxed, and charged it
today. It got 100% charge and still charged. I will try using more hard at
evening.
I wonder that, as a never used battery, and original, and made in 1998, it
should be dead.

I was surprised.
