eMate 300 (NOS 2.1)
with Serial57600 installed (internal)
using NCU
A connection is established between the eMate and my Win2k machine at
work, but soon after clicking the NewtonWorks Export button, and seeing
a file created in the Backup folder, I get an error message that reads:
"the connection wes stopped because of a communication error (-1)" and
the newly created desktop file disappears.
This happened in both cases, where I set baud rates of 57600 and 9600.
I've been trying out the eMate as a note-taking device in meetings, and
it's been very useful (especially as a conversation starter..."say, my
daughter has a Barbie computer too, but it's pink"); the value would be
enhanced if I could share my notes with others, but to do so I have to
get the files onto my desktop.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
