[NTLK] [OT] UK Mac users take note

Apologies for a brief off-topic message, but UK Mac users on this list
may be very interested to know of a petition on the Government's
petition website, relating to the BBC's plans to launch their own
'iPlayer' for watching TV programmes online.

Currently it is locked in to Windows operating systems, and so will
only be usable on PCs running Windows, thus excluding anyone running
Mac operating systems, Linux and the rest.

If you think this is bad news, and that as a public service broadcaster
the Beeb needs to pull its finger out and get it operational on all
