Take a look at the unsupported, discontinued (but functional and
handy) Newton Paperback-format tools that are part of Paul Guyot et
al's DCL Libraries:

Specifically, you need to download the Prelimbinaries .dmg and look
at the conversion tools there.

I built myself a Newtonbook of _True Revelations of a Professional
Rat Catcher_ for my 2100 there and took it on Christmas vacation.
