[NTLK] Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles: resurrection of the 2100

Well, my MP 2100 is back.
I let it sit for about 20 minutes without any power before my impatience
took over. Plugged in the AC and turned it on, after 15-20 seconds the
"do you really want to perform a brain wipe?" query came up. I said no
and things started back to where they were.
Now: WHY did things go sour in the first place??
A problem for tomorrow. I'm done with the Newton for today.
