I am not sure what your point is. A couple of years ago Adriano made
me a serial cable to go directly from my 2100 to my Keyspan adaptor -
no dongle at the Newton end; all built in. It works perfectly.

The price, including shipping, was extremely reasonable. The service
was excellent and fast.
