[NTLK] Backlight auto on, part two

Thanks for the suggestions.
My way of switching the 2100 on is not the problem.
I reinstalled Optionen as per suggestion. Makes no difference.
Installed; checked Prefs; removed. Tried it again. Left it installed.
No change.
I don't have Backlight Plus.
So I'm still stuck with the backlight every time I power up.
Any other ideas?
