[NTLK] Mail V crashes when trying to connect to smtp server

Hi

I've got my emate up an running with wireless and have set up MailV as my
email package. My email server runs on a linux box.

I can receive my emails onto the emate OK - it just downloads what's in my
inbox on the server.

But it will not send anything - it tries to log on but always crashes with
an error message like:

"Mail V
Unknown Newton error at
OC6952C0"

The address is not always the same.

Is this likely to be a problem with my server, or something I have set up
wrong on the emate?

Grateful for any ideas...
