[NTLK] FW: Softprintpack

Folks

Good news the Softprintpack developer is interested in releasing it as open
source something-or-rather. He talks about finding a volunteer making some
"necessary modifications... to make it GPL". What does that mean? If someone
does know and have the skill set to take the project further on please contact
me off list.

Yes I am interested in opening the source code for developers that might
be interested. This program was made a long time ago when I was a
student so the code is probably not great or all that legible, but
you're welcome to it. I am happy to contribute in this way to the
survival of the Newton platform. Is anyone willing to make the necessary
modifications on my behalf to make it GPL? Mainly in the doc, comments
etc... I would like to retain the copyright to the existing code.
I don't have time to go looking for it this week, but please remind me
again if I haven't contacted you again in a couple of weeks.
