I think I can answer the 2nd question #3. Open "InOut", click on the "i"
button and select "Mail V Prefs". From there, click on the "More" button and
select "Rules". You can then create a rule to ignore any e-mails over a
certain size. From there you can also choose to browse the e-mails instead
of downloading them upon connecting.
