hmmm...

I use GoFetch with Mail V. GoFetch has extra packages, one gives you a
backdrop button that simplifies the connection steps. WittyKeys would
allow you to program keyboard shortcuts but may not help with scripting
things together. Newton Script would solve your scripting needs but
that idea may have a steep (time consuming) learning curve.

There are external Newton modems that connect to the 8-Pin Din. The
"Newton" brand cigarette modems are nice. Very sleek and portable. The
use AA Batteries (or Newton Power Adapter) but are only 1200bps. I've
used one of those with a MP130. For emailing and retrieving small stuff
<30K it was fine.

With a little experimentation, you can find a Mac compatible 33.6 modem
and a Mac serial cable. That'll get you to 33,600bps. You have to edit
a custom modem definition using Modem Modifier on your Newton...not
difficult. I've used a USRobotics Sportster Voice 33.6 FaxModems on my
Newton with success.

I imagine, if you were technically inclined, you could play with this
idea. I have not heard of any success stories of such wild concepts as
eMate-to-Interconnect-to-USB Dongle-to-USB Modem connections.

As mentioned by Alan earlier today, Mail V Preferences (found in your
IOBox) will allow you to do this. Add a rule to ignore if >30K or >50K.
Rules are very handy.

There doesn't appear to be a Reply All option in Mail V... probably a
feature request for a future update.
