Do we know that replacing the green backlight with a white one will
eliminate the audible hum. I always through that it was a power
supply issue coming from the capacitors used to power the backlight
in the display. In that case replacing the backlight itself would not
render the audible hum in audible. Of course I could be wrong here,
and either way a sharp looking white backlight would ben nice.
