1 GB flash card? I assume you don't have all of it mounted or you will
run into memory problems (although in general it will just say "the
newton does not have enough free memory to do what you ask...pressing
restart may fix this problem....). The larger the card you have the
more heap it takes for the newton to keep track of it all. I suggest if
you do have that much space on the internal try removing the card and
see if that fixes the issue.
If that does I suggest making smaller partitions on the flash card and
try it again to see if that was the issue. I suspect it was.
