[NTLK] The Eye-Q Museum Device (re: more old news)

Here's the last word on the Eye-Q pilot program:

It was a pilot business project started by a couple of business school graduates from Chicago. I know that they loaned Eye-Q units out to the art museum at UofC Berkley. The units were also tested and used for an exhibit on clothing of the first ladies in the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History (sadly, this was some six years after I had worked there as an intern).

Somewhere out there, somebody has the technical particulars for using Newton MPs as museum guide tools. It would be nice to do some detective work on this...Anyway, here are some convoluted links:

Pasting web links into Newtontalk s#ck$! I recommend that any interested parties conduct their own search with Webcrawler, using the terms "Eye-Q", "museum", and "Visible Interactive". It may be easier than trying to use some of the more convoluted links shown above.
