[NTLK] -10011 error

Hello list,

I have been a lurker for quite a while now. I have a problem with my
non-upgraded MessagePad 2000. One day, while trying to delete a
package, something messed up (unfortunately, this was a while ago so I
cannot remember what exactly happened.) The end result is that,
whenever I turn my MessagePad on (without deactivating the packages),
it freezes at the (half-deleted?) package. When I deactivate all of
the packages on the internal store and I tap on the routing icon to
delete the package, I get a -10011 error which, according to the error
database, is a bad object. Is there any way for me to remove this
package (short of a hard reset)? Looking through the FAQ was
inconclusive (it suggested that I delete the package while deactivated)
and I cannot access the WikiWikiNewt or UNNA (for the error database, I
used the Internet Archive.) Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Connor
