I don't think its going to happen. I have had a similar problem with
a 10 mg card that came with my first 2000. I was unable to solve it
and ultimately gave into my frustrations and curiosity and dismantled
it.
There was a discussion at some time though I couldn't find it about
the cards controller/ interface? or something like that. I'm guessing
that the issue is at that level which is why the pc can address it.
