Ah, what a great project. And really interesting to see how many Newton
fans use their Messagepads every day.
I'll keep mine short, as I'm a newbie to this stuff.

NAME: Dave Lawrence
AGE: 27
OCCUPATION: graphic design / PR for a credit union
LOCATION: Jackson, MI
NEWTON COLLECTION: MP 110 (though an eMate will be coming soon, I think)

MY NEWTON STORY:
Mine really started with Apple. I bought my first computer in winter 2005,
taking a gamble on a Mac. Grabbed an iBook G4 1.42 Ghz, the last of its
kind, and haven't looked back. Ended up snatching a Bondi iMac from a scrap
heap, and started to play around with OS 9. Read about the Newton, thought
I'd give it a try just to play around. Figured out how to connect it. Now
I'm a Newton geek.

HOW I USE MY NEWTON TODAY:
There for a while I was using it as my everyday PDA - notes, dates,
reminders, etc. The only thing I didn't use it for was contacts - those
were all stored on my iPod if I needed them. Then I hit upon the idea to
try out some "Newton Poetry" - scribbling poems into the Newton and see what
pops out - and ended up starting a blog about it. I still do that a little,
but the site has moved to more Newton news and updates and tips - kind of a
"keep the history alive" thing. Since I got my iPhone, it's sort of
replaced the Newton as my info source - but I plan on tackling some projects
when I buy a 2.x OS Newton (either an eMate or a 2x00 model).
