[NTLK] Newton model number?

Hi list,

I received a question about the MessagePad 2000 I am selling on ebay.
The question was about the model number on the back of the Newton.

With macs, model numbers usually mean different models (with different
compononents and or different specs) Do you know what is the
difference between different Newton numbers???
