The StyleWriter Portable does _NOT_ work with the Newton! I bought one
years ago, after being told by the salesman over the phone (before the
internet, actually) that itwould work, butit didn't, and when I called
Apple, they told me it didn't. In fact, couldn't get it to work with
the GTD PrintWorks cable--because it's serial, not parallel. (the
printer it's based on, though, should work via the cable)
