[NTLK] Battery rebuild--polyswitches

Those techies out there who have rebuilt Newton battery
packs, a Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC)
also called a polyswitch, is the little yellow tab that's attached
half way through the battery's cells. When the temperature
rises, the resistance increases sharply at a certain temperature,
voltage is reduced. When the temperature drops, it goes back
to its low resistance value--it's essentially a resettable fuse.

Any data specs on the engineering curves for these devices?
Please contact me off-list.

Daniel, are you out there?

Doug Parker
