Let's start with some questions...
When you insert the Wifi Card, does the Card slip open and does your
Newton recognize the WaveLAN card?
When you try to connect the Newton, do the lights on the WaveLAN card
flicker or does at least one light go solid?
Have you turned off all WEP and WPA security on your Airport router?
Do you have DHCP services turned on, on the router?
What IP range is the Airport Router using for DHCP?
Are you using MAC address filtering on the the router?
Have you investigated Flashing the Silver WaveLAN card to upgrade it to
a Gold WaveLAN card?
