Interesting. I was under the impression that 7.6.1 would be "better" because
that was the era that the Newt was in, so connectivity tools, development
environments, etc would be more compatible. Plus I thought it might be a
little faster. So I might as well stick with OS 9 then.

I would use at least 8.6 with that PB. I think that because it is a
Power PC you may need at least 8.0
With the 9 installed you can use a Wavelan silver and it will be
recognized as an airport card.
