Sorry Frank...
  I just saw this...
If I remember correctly, this is a huge button cell battery. It also has this weird "bulge" in the middle that makes it wider as well...
Here is the closest I can find to that battery out there on the web:
  http://tinyurl.com/6loaqp
  http://www.interstatebatteries.com/estore/search.asp?details=1&mscssid=G35URMCXLWD28K5LN80X1FU2KJW0E3ND&N=2147384804+2147384721&part_number=ASC0902&Nao=10&part_desc=1%2E2V+++60mAh+NiCd+60MA+ROUN+%2D+Items+Used+For+Battery+Assembl&Nu=Part+Number&Ns=product+Type%7C0%7C%7CRank%7C1&js=1

It matches the physical dimensions, but not so much on the electrical dimensions..but it may do in a pinch if you can't find the original size...

I also remember that this battery used to be quite popular with larger "small" devices back in the 80s and 90s....
I tried searching myself and was suprised to find it so difficult to find...
Give this like a try and see if you can do anything with it.

  Hi folks,

I can hardly believe it. I just spent three solid hours unsuccessfully
in in
the worldwide web to find info on the battery that was used in
this card, namely

Duracell DA630, Panasonic PR1662P, or equivalent

I know that this is a 1.4 Volt Zinc Air battery like those used
in hearing aids, but I was unable to find physical dimensions or
at least a cross reference or replacement type. The Duracell
web site is one of those sites that I'd like to shoot the webmaster
for because it does not allow getting at information on a Duracell
battery of which the type is known. The Panasonic site is another site
I'd like to shoot the webmaster for because all four battery links
at the bottom of the page are dead, so I do not even get a chance to
shoot the webmaster for a more specific reason. Amazingly, I found
neither
size nor a replacement type with Google. Boy, this can't be THAT
difficult. Yes, I know that I could measure the space available in
the card's battery compartment, but I'd much rather use a cell with
EXACTLY the dimensions specified, not one that happens to fit...

Has anybody ever used a different battery brand with this card?
Ed, maybe? Or, if someone happens to have such a battery lying
around, could you arm yourself with a caliper gauge and measure
diameter and height?

Thanks a lot

Frank

PS If it is a metal caliper gauge and the battery is still fresh,
isolating the gauge with a thin piece of paper whose thickness is
subtracted from the result might help...

Never mind that we just had an incredibly cold winter in North America and huge record snowfalls across the continent. As Al Gore said to a bunch of us the other day, these record cold spells and record snowfalls are actually caused by global warming. To which Jerry York replied, "Jeez then I guess we better stop this global warming before we all f**king freeze to death, eh?"
