Or, make that +$20 for a new connectivity tool. Right now I'm using
Newtscape to get stuff from my local web server over ethernet, but that's
turning out not to be as useful as I thought - I'd love to do a USB
connection to my XP and Vista and Linux and Mac OS X boxes.

How about a bounty of sorts for software that is highly desired? Maybe a
"pledge drive" for different applications that would reward someone
financially for development above and beyond shareware fees...
I'd pledge $20 toward getting really good GUI-based package install and
sync on Linux (specifically Ubuntu).
