[NTLK] Light Options for the eMate

Since the money I paid to notwen is gone, I think I'll have to come up with another way to see my eMate keyboard in low/no light.
Backlit keys woud be the best, but a hardware hack that'd cost more than thre eMate is not all that sensible. Can anyone recommend a good way to see the keys at night?
