So far I have tried TeleType and the zTeleTypeHack (makes the top PCMCIA
slot appear to be a serial port). I'm trying to get my head around TeleType
because it already has maps in it. I run around New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
and New York, so hopefully the map coverage will be decent. It would be kind
of interesting if I could get some quick map imports of other countries, but
as far as I can tell that's not straightforward at all.

I installed GPS Map Lite but it doesn't appear to like the PCMCIA card, only
wants to talk to external serial devices.

I have close-to-new Alkaline AA batteries in the 2100. With TeleType
running, in ~25 minutes the battery level has dropped to 75%.
