I'm awake now.

In your Owner Info, under Mail: (for gmx.com) tap Outgoing tab and check the
email addresses here. E-Mail: field should match the User name: field.

How about you?

If these two fields don't match, I amost possitve that this will generate that
SMTP 550 error.
