The only problem I've had with an emergency call is AT&T dropped it -
the police called me back immediately, no problem.
Also, you are supposed to aim just slightly to the left of center on
each key: that way the smallest part of your fingertip hits the key
dead on - the reason for this is that the angle of approach for most
right-hand fore-finger tips is slightly tilted to the right, NOT
straight down like you might think - it's actually a real strain to
hit a flat surface with your fingertip on the perpendicular.
