You could have a bad battery cell. I've been using rechargable energizer batteries in my Newton 2100 for about 3 years now. Back in the spring I had an issue where the Newton's charge would go from 100% to almost dead in about a day. It would also reset a lot because of losing power. After changing out each battery individually I was able to find the bad one and replace it.
