[NTLK] Patch Confirmation?

I saw this on my 2100, "Scratchy."

Background: OSX 10.6.1, USB to serial adapter, running NCX. Package on the desktop of the imac. Serial connection. No fancy high speed serial drivers on, "Scratchy."

I docked up to NCX from the Newton, browsed on the Newton to the 2010 patch pkg, Hit install. It got a little past 1/2 way, then stopped with a connection error. Bummer.

I turned off "scratchy," ejected the flash storage card, restarted "scratchy" normally with the flash card removed. Docked up, then installed the package from NCX. Everything went fine. Get info on the memory and confirmed the "J" patch was installed.

My guess is that ejecting the PC card(s) made the real difference in applying the patch.
Don't give up!

OK. I've downloaded the proper patch, but it hangs about halfway
through the installation process and then tells me that there's been a
connection error.

Any thoughts?
