[NTLK] Detect Sound?

I would like to have my Newton monitor ambient sound levels, and when the
sound of a voice is heard, send me an email or make a HTTP GET web call to a
server so I can know it. Detecting the sound of breaking glass would be cool
too.

Can anyone give me their $.02 on sound recognition?
