Hello Tony,

Thank you for the suggestion.

I have now tried connecting, with the "use WEP" box checked. This I
have done with all modes (Infrastructure, ad-hoc, and ad-hoc (old-
fashioned)) and with DHCP and Manual connections. The results remain
the same results (I say results, as the errors are slightly different,
even if the end result -- no connection -- is the same!).
