I find it hard to believe that Axiotron wouldn't include wifi. Their
regular modbook page doesn't make any mention of wireless, but does
on the tech specs page.
For the $3000 difference in a MacBook Pro and ModBook Pro, I think
most of it can be justified. The wacom Cintiq LCD monitor/tablet
starts at $999 and runs up to $1999. There is the custom designed
case that costs to manufacture and install the components into.
Finally there is the software that is bundled into the entire
package. We may think $5000 for a complete tablet mac is outrageous,
but i'm sure $699 for the OMP in 1993 was too (pulled those numbers
from apple-history.com).
