Yes, Ken, I did have a look at those gloves... they strike me as pretty large, and the capacitance tips are rather wide, and limited to thumb and index. I have a feeling that's no solution either -- I'd never manage to hit the intended spot with those, I'm afraid.
But I'd like to add another anti-iPhone rant -- and I wonder if it also applies to your BlackBerry and L.W. Brown's device (that's an iPhone, too, right?).
The information Ken provided in his posting is < 20 chars long. But do me a favour and look at the rest of Ken's posting [tried quoting it here but it was rightly rejected by the list software].
See what I mean? Neither Ken nor L.W. Brown deleted unnecessary lines. Lots of text for nothing, miles and miles of chains of stuff dragging along...
I don't think Ken or L.W. Brown were just too lazy to delete these lines.
The problem with the iPhone is this: you can't select a stretch of text (and delete it). If there is a way to achieve this, I haven't found it yet. Does Apple expect users to backspace one character at a time?! *groan*
Nah, this can't be the Newton's or anyone else's future. This is WAY below average.
