but as for chipping people, watch out for infection at the
transcutaneous insertion point. Also, the reception range for
microchips is pretty miserable unless you use an active amplifier on
the chip side. This would involve a large implanted battery as well as
quite a lot of high powered electronics. This doesn't seem very
practical but our company could research it for you, we are currently
working on RFID devices, medical equipment, and have extensively
researched implanted devices (and why they are a "bad idea").
On the other hand I have no need to be called about the state of our
squeeky cheese supply while emptying my bladder.
