I have pretty well consistently crashed the VNC server in 10.4.11 on my iMac as well as 10.5.4 on my G5 when using UltraVNC or ReaVNC clients on Windows. Installing VineServer on the Macs on an alternate port works fine.
How a client could crash a server in 2008/2009 amazed me, especially when the company is Apple....
