Being an Isles fan in Toronto, all I can say is eat it Burke - you ain't
gettin' our #1!!! :P
Going to be sweet to see Tavares (unless Snow really blows it) wearing #91
(if Goring will let him - it isn't retired, yet) in blue, white and
orange... Something good had to come out of this horrible season! I mean,
the Isles have the #1, #26, 2 or 3 2nd rounders and a couple of 3rd
rounders. If Chicago's or (more so) Pittsburgh's youth movement (how many
#1 picks did the Pens have? Crosby, Fleury and I think Malkin?), good
things will happen - if they get their arena...

Now if only the rumours of DiPietro still on crutches or using a walker go
away and he returns to form...

The Hawks should make a run for the cup as they handled Vancouver well last
night. It would boil Leafs fans further that the only original 6 team that
has been cup starved longer than they have would be much closer than the
Leafs will be in years (decades?).

As for the East, I was hoping the Caps would have finished the Pens off
sooner, but when Crosby tied it and pushed the game into overtime, it was a
huge relief to see the Caps finally win one in OT. Not rubbing it in to
Caps fans here, but I still feel for you guys after the Easter marathon when
you guys lost to the Isles, but there had to be a loser and a winner and of
course, being an Isles fan, that LaFontaine goal in the 4th overtime made
that Easter most memorable! :D
