Just to follow up on this post, Michael Schaefer is an actual  
subscriber to the list and has posted legitimate messages in the past.  
My guess is that his Hotmail account was hacked or has suffered from  
some malware attack which sent this particular message. I'm keeping  
his address active on the list for now, but will be watching out for  
odd behaviour going forward.
